The Coating Thickness Gauges Eban2000Mk2 and Eban3000Mk2 are top of range Coating Thickness Meters and are top performance instruments with a modular design allowing an extensive range of feature options to be chosen at time of purchase or upgrade in the future.

Easy to use, place the probe on the coating to be measured, there will be a beep and the measurement will be displayed, this will be retained on the display until the next measurement has been taken.

Easy and accurate multi calibration facility for different substrate shapes and blast cleaned profiles.

Detachable flexible lead, constant pressure measuring probes.

Conforms to BS5411, BS3900, ISO2178, ISO2360, ISO2808, DIN50981, ASTM B 499 and SSPC methods of measurement.

Calibration Certificates having traceability to UKAS are available for both the Eban instruments and the Calibration Foils.

Accuracy of up to ±1% when referred to reference standards.

Ferrous models will measure all non-ferromagnetic coatings on Steel and Iron substrates. Examples: Paint, Epoxy, Tin, Copper, Zinc, Cadmium, Galvanizing, Metal spray, Chrome, Powder Coating, Lacquer and Enamel etc.

Non ferrous models will measure all non-conductive non-ferromagnetic coatings on conductive non-ferrous substrates. Examples: Paint, Anodizing, Powder Coating, Lacquer, Plastics etc on Aluminium, Brass, Copper and Non-magnetic Stainless etc.

Combined Ferrous and Non ferrous versions are available which will measure all of these combinations.
