Wet Film Gauge

The Tricomb Stainless Steel Wet Film Comb ensures the quality control of the paint thickness while the coating is still wet. Applying too much coating can be expensive. Wet film measurements are also useful for coatings where the dry film thickness can only be measured destructively.

Tricomb Stainless Steel Wet Film Gauges are precision machined, ensuring the highest accuracy of wet film thickness measurement is obtained.

Wide measurement range with high resolution measurement, catering for virtually all of the standard wet film measurement requirements.

Easy to use, place the Tricomb into the paint so it touches the substrate. Then remove the Tricomb. The coating thickness can now be observed by looking at the teeth.

All gauges have dual Micron and Thou/Mil scales.

Complies with International Standards: ISO 2808-7B, BS 3900-C5-7B,
ASTM D 4414-A and NF T30-125.

Manufactured in stainless steel, allowing the gauge to be hard wearing and easily cleaned in solvents.
